Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.

My name is Rahyeon, and I am a graduate of the Class of 2024 from the University of Queensland’s Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours).
My journey toward becoming a veterinarian began when I was just 12 years old, inspired by my deep desire to care for my beloved companion, Ruby. However, it was the unexpected challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021 that profoundly reshaped my path. Taking a hiatus from veterinary school, I enlisted in the Republic of Korea Army as a medic, an experience that became a pivotal chapter in my life. During my service, I had the privilege of encountering remarkable mentors whose guidance and insight ignited a passion for surgical oncology within me.
Working alongside esteemed veterinary surgical oncologists, I found myself drawn deeper into this specialised field, solidifying my resolve to pursue it as a career. Inspired by these experiences, I embarked on a journey to create a platform, a website, with the aim of disseminating valuable clinical knowledge to both the general public and fellow professionals in the veterinary industry.
